– Prepared by the central government for the whole country.

– Prepared by the state government according to the tourism resources and needs of the state.

– Develops destinations, facilities, tourism products and promotion within the state.

– Prepared for a particular city, town, village or tourist destination.

– Focuses on local facilities, cleanliness, conservation, visitor management and community participation.
